Advocate
Since its inception, the Harford County Chamber of Commerce has been the recognized voice for business in Harford County, offering support of pro-business legislation, advocating on behalf of its members, and educating members on legislative issues. The Harford County Chamber of Commerce actively advocates for Harford County businesses, reviewing over 3,500 local, state, and federal bills on average each year. With several advocacy-related events each year, the Chamber provides members with opportunities to meet local and state officials, ask questions, and get involved in grass-roots advocacy efforts.

Connections made at the Chamber go deeper than just networking; our team strives to build relationships between members and with resources in our community so that initial meetings turn into long-lasting partnerships. The fastest way to connect as a new or prospective member of the Chamber is to attend one of our upcoming networking events!
Coffee & Connections has quickly become a member favorite! Each third Wednesday morning from 8:00-9:00am, Chamber members and guests meet at a fellow member business for coffee and casual networking! Bring plenty of business cards and be sure to drop one in the bowl when you attend! We scan and email all business cards received to participants afterwards so that you can follow up with people that you met or reach out to people you didn’t have a chance to talk to! This event is free for members and first-time guests, just register on our events calendar!
If you prefer an evening event, join us for Networking at Night! These events are held in the Fall and Spring and feature 100-150 guests for an evening of networking over food and drink. These events often include additional marketing opportunities for members including sponsorships and marketing tables! Register on our events calendar and bring a friend!
Interested in maximizing the benefits of your Chamber benefits? Attend a Chamber Connection and make your membership WORK for you! These virtual presentations are held once per quarter and review Chamber membership benefits, events, marketing opportunities and more! These are great sessions to attend for prospective members wanting to learn more about the Chamber, new members looking to maximize their membership, or current members needing a refresher on Chamber benefits.
Educate
The Harford Chamber works to both foster the next generation of leaders and provide established individuals with valuable professional development opportunities. Partnering with other organizations in Harford County, our team works diligently to strengthen the future workforce of our business community.
Throughout the year, members can benefit from educational webinars and opportunities to strengthen their business practices. Members also have the opportunity to share their insights with each other and new entrepreneurs.
The Harford County Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation awards scholarships each year to deserving high school seniors, returning adult students, and military students. Member businesses can sponsor a scholarship, donate to the Education Foundation, or help in other fundraising efforts throughout the year.
